Squirrels are smart in their own squirrely way. The squirrel you will see here has an excellent sense of the relative dangers posed by an automobile and a bicycle.
Maybe he would have been afraid of me if I had been sporting my new Mo... difficult to say.
Being squirrely is terribly underrated.

The music alone was enough to make me snicker this morning. In Ottawa, the same happens but with bunnies and geese. Fun times.
ReplyDeleteWhat you have there is an H-tail squirrel, one that's dropped it's tail for high speed/low drag operation. He's running with a purpose, intent on reaching the other side of the street. Now, your V-tailed squirrel, on the other hand, it's simply trying to be noticed. He's a thrill seeker and he'll run in front of you just to mess with your head.
