Remember that "How's My Driving?" sign I've been riding around with? I had gotten no contacts other than Dave until yesterday, and it was something "live" as I rode along.

I would ask everybody to take the highest road possible with any commenters on my sign, especially ones who are fishing for an angry response. I like the backup, but please avoid calling anybody names, even mild ones.
Part of this experiment is to keep the cyclist side of the discussion super over polite, even when being baited.
Yeah, I forgot to mention how impressive your reasoned responses were. It's the same strength that impresses me when my friends in the local environmental group are dealing with angry name-callers and paranoids. You done good.
