I hope to ride my bike in to work tomorrow. I would post a little video if it weren't for the fact that my crappy bike-mount camera was finished off by a big pothole the other day and I can no longer attach it to the bike.
I have plans to locate another cheap camera for this purpose. This would never have happened in a smooth pavement Utopia.
Most parts of the city had received a metre or more of snow by Tuesday afternoon, which is 100cm, or 3' 3" for you 'mericans. In many places it drifted to much greater depths. That is about half the snowfall London usually receives all winter. This town is almost completely shut down. Here are some pics:

I've kind of got my hands full at work and at home thanks to all this snow. I'll post something again soon I hope. In the meantime, stay cool.

Makes you wonder what it'll be like when winter really gets here in another couple of weeks!
It does indeed. I'm used to having a little time to find my "snow legs". Not this year!
Thats a lot of snow, but it looks great!! By the way, has anyone said how much your kids look like you? Its amazing!
Wow, that is a LOT of snow! I know it must be a lot if you aren't riding. We got a few inches here, and I've been enjoying it.
Good luck riding tommorow!!! I have also not rode my bike in the last 2 days because of the snow here in London.I heard we have more snow in the East end than Downtown. Be Safe out there.
Hey, thanks man. Plows have been pretty busy... I have high hopes.
OMG I hope that stays in London. We haven't been hit yet in Ottawa and I am fearing the worst. God how I hate winter. lol
That reminds me of growing up in Fargo, ND which is why I now live in KS. ;)
360 - Don't worry, it is snow squalls off Lake Huron. I don't believe they have ever reached Ottawa.

For two winters we had epic snow. Then last winter we got on the other side of the weather pattern and had practically nothing. That was followed by one of the best bike seasons anyone can remember. I hated to see it go, because it's so unlikely to be repeated. Now New England is still waiting for the snowfall that has hit other parts of the country. We get weird leftover weather. About 3 inches of rain Sunday.
